Andrew Weston

Andrew Weston started homebrewing 30 years ago after earning a PhD in reproductive physiology at Cornell University. He now makes test-tube babies and figured if he could grow human embryos, he could probably grow yeast. While living in Bend, Ore., he started a homebrew class at the community college (still going) and founded the first homebrew shop in Bend. With 26 microbreweries in town, now he just tries to drink his share.
