Chris Hotz

Chris Hotz began homebrewing in 2004. He joined San Diego’s QUAFF homebrew club in 2012, and in 2014 he earned a Professional Certificate in Brewing from the University of California San Diego. A Certified BJCP judge, Chris began working at Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits in 2014 as a quality analyst and became an R&D brewer in 2016. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and 16-month-old daughter.
