Peter Symons lives in Sydney, Australia, and has brewed for more than 20 years. He currently brews historical beer recreations on a self-made HERMS. He has a graduate certificate in brewing from Ballarat University, has completed the Siebel Institute’s WBA Concise Course, and is a BJCP Recognized judge. He has published two books: Bronzed Brews – Homebrewing Old Australian Beers and 6 O’CLOCK Brews – Homebrewing More Old Australian Beers.
